Spencer certainly left his mark on every one of his soccer teammates and coaches. His positive attitude and amazing sense of humor made him the perfect teammate. He had the uncanny ability of making those around him smile in nearly any situation. He always helped all of us keep everything in perspective.
Losing Spencer to this horrible disease seems so senseless. He was a bright shining light that still burns bright in all of those who had the opportunity to be touched by him. We will all carry him with us moving forward.
It always made me so proud to see him in pictures like this one, sporting his Bulldog Soccer shirt on one of his many international adventures.
