Two home games in 24 hours saw the Bulldogs earn a scoreless draw with first place North Attleboro and earn a 4-3 win over Milford.
Abe Garber earned the shutout for the Bulldogs in the 0-0 draw with NA in front of a huge crowd on Saturday night. It was also a special night as the 1997 Hockomock Championship team was honored at halftime.
The Milford win saw the Bulldog fall behind early before storming back with 2 quick goals- one Paul Corcoran on a great pass by Alejandro Correal. Corcoran's first touch was brilliant before calmly finishing it off. Just a minute or so later, Simon Cruz chased down another great ball from Correal in the box. At first, a Milford back had the ball but Cruz persisted and regained possession and expertly finished his earned chance. Two second half goals by Corcoran, both provided by Griffin Roach, would prove to be too much for the visiting Scarlett Hawks. Milford would score twice late, but the 'dogs held on for the 4-3 win. Corcoran's hat trick was his second of the season.
The games followed up a hard fought 0-1 defeat at Kelley-Rex leading Oliver Ames last Wednesday.
The team travels to Sharon on Thursday to face the Eagles in yet another key Davenport matchup.
